Goal Checklist

This is a compiled list of all of my goals, completed and incompleted. I did this because I have several entries with goals and such, but it’s hard to keep track of them all.

Academic:

• Maintain an GPA of > 3.7 in college (ongoing)
• Transfer to either:
  • UT
  • Texas Tech
  • BYU
  • A&M
  • [figuring out where I'm going to go might be nice...]
• Get BS in Computer Science
• Go to either Law School, or pursue CS grad studies
  • if going to Law School, graduate with honors and land a job as a corporate lawyer
  • if pursuing CS graduate studies:
    • get Master’s Degree in CS field, start teaching college classes
    • get PhD in CS field
    • do research work and get professorship at a major university

Career:

• Get an internship where I can do some programming (Java, C++, C#… offer me a job?)
• Get a job (after/during college) in the CS area (co-op?)

Personal goals:

• Get a girlfriend (possibly before the Trail of Lights)
• Figure out Java 3D (yeah I’m a nerd, and aren’t you?)
• Stop caring about the latest/greatest gadgets (geez, they’re expensive)
• Earn some freakin’ money!

Other:

• At 19, serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

Phew, what a list! Now, I’ll just have to keep up with it…
